Before your child’s first day, we invite you and your child to spend time with us through a series of orientation visits, which we call rooming in.
These visits give your child time to become familiar with their new classroom, participate in the programme and begin building relationships with their educators at their own pace. Rooming in is planned in partnership with each family, responding to your child's individual needs and helping create a gentle, supported transition into Harbour Early Learning.
It’s also a lovely opportunity to begin establishing a familiar morning ritual, creating a predictable start to the day that can help your child feel safe and secure.
